THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 10th August, 2015)

Ps 60:11
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
KJV

God’s help is certain as against the help of man that is full of uncertainties! God’s promises are with full assurances of fulfillment but it’s not so with man. The Psalmist knew this too well and that was why he cried unto God, “give us help from trouble”. This was repeated, for emphasis, in Psalm 108:12. Those who lean on God’s help are never disappointed. Man is quick to promise but hard to fulfill his promises. Those who look unto God share testimonies of God’s faithfulness at the end of the day while those who look unto man, no matter his status, tell tales of woes. No wonder the Psalmist wrote in Ps 121:1-2, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” This week, God will send you help from unexpected quarters! Before you make your requests they are already granted! The God who made the heaven and earth, and whom you look unto, will not disappoint you! This week you shall share your testimonies of God’s help! Vain is the help of man; look unto God and He will show up for you. So shall it be! PEACE!
