THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 29^th June, 2015)

2 Kings 3:16-17

And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.

when God is set to do His great work and His great acts, He can bypass the natural occurrence! He can change the feature of a thing to bring to pass His good intentions. Think about when God made an ass to talk (Num 22:28-35), thin about when He made the sun to stand still (Josh 10:12-13). In the scriptural passage before us today, God is saying He does not need wind or rain to provide water. You may not see wind, you may not see rain but the valley, your valley shall be filled with water. You may not have money in your bank account right now but that project you have started will never be abandoned. You may not have food in the storehouse but you will eat and be satisfied. You may have been experiencing dryness in some areas of your life but God is saying your time to celebrate has finally come. As we end the first half of this year and begin the second half this week abundance shall answer in your life. This shall be a week of abundance of all things for you. Remember, you may not see wind, you may not see rain but you shall be filled with water. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday  26^th June, 2015)

Ps 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

What follows you, to a large extent, determines what you see and what you become in life. Your encounters in life are connected to what you carry. Some people see sorrow because that is what is following them. Some see crises and so crises keep following them. As for you, your followers are goodness and mercy! The scripture says ‘surely’ which means ‘without failing,’ ‘nothing wavering,’ ‘assuredly’ your companions shall be goodness and mercy and that is, whether the devil likes it or not. When God’s goodness and mercy follow an individual they make you to succeed. You shall succeed! They make you to have abundance. You will not be in lack and want anymore. They make you to have favour. I decree you will not lack favour in your life. When goodness and mercy follow you, you will end up a celebrity. You shall be celebrated! Above all, when goodness and mercy follow a man, God follows that man too because you can’t separate God from them. Lift your voice and ask for God’s goodness and mercy to keep following you all through this weekend in all you do, wherever you go and in the remaining the days of your life. So shall it be in Jesus name! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 24^th June, 2015)

Acts 26:22

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

No one is sufficient in himself to accomplish anything! The Apostle Paul knew this very well and leaned upon God (he depended solely on God for the work of the ministry). No wonder he made waves in his time. Until Jesus comes the world cannot recover from the impact of his ministry as we read and continue to digest the books he wrote in the new testament. It is often surprising and disheartening to see so many talk and behave as if they can do anything on their own accord. Some hold unto the help of man as if man is that reliable. Those who depend on the help of men are often disappointed because man is man, man is not God. Those who put their trust in God do valiantly. The Psalmist puts it this way “Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies” (Ps 60:11-12). Paul reiterated he can do all things through the strength of Christ only (Phil. 4:13). Friends, let us hold unto God for His help. As you do so, you shall do valiantly and He shall tread down your enemies in Jesus name. Receive the help of God for continuity! So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday  19^th June, 2015)

Isa 41:10, 13

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

All over the world fear is one of the major battles people face! People are often victims of fear than the real happenings around them. Many a times we are enslaved by fear and very often it is the fear of unknown. People are afraid of failure as they are afraid of success. Some fear success because they feel if they succeed they will become targets of evil forces. This is the same reasons some do not venture into anything in life. Some are afraid of going to school because they are already afraid of failure. Some remain unmarried simply because they feel they will fail in their family life. This is one of the deadly tools used by the devil today-fear! So many are dismayed, weakened because of fear and have refused to take steps to better their future. God knowing this has said you need not be afraid because He is there to help you. He will uphold you in all you do on the planet earth! He will  hold your hand and lead you through. Though you may have failed before, God will help you now. Try again you won’t fail again. Tell yourself, “my God will help me, I shall not fear anymore”. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 17^th June, 2015)

Hag 2:8-9

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

A man of God once said “those who go for gold miss God”. This statement is very true as in our dispensation many go for gold instead of God. Those who go for gold miss God and because they miss God they equally miss gold. This is because God is the owner of gold and if you must have it you must first of all acknowledge the owner. The scripture makes us to understand that the earth is the LORD’s and all its fullness (Ps. 24:1, 1 Cor. 10:26,28). Many will not understand this as they go after so many things that they cannot reach instead of reaching God who can bring the things within their reach. In Matt 6:33 the bible says “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. Instead of running around please run o God, instead of looking for gold make sure you hang unto God and you shall have gold and silver. Above all, He will give you greater glory and peace. So shall it be!  SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 15^th June, 2015)

Heb 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
KJV

Faith makes one to see the invisible and it takes the invisible to achieve the impossible. Through faith we have come to the realization that the world came out of the invisible by the spoken word of God. if the word of God created the entire world then His word can create your own world. That means, the you they are seeing now cannot be compared to the you that will emerge very soon by the word of God. The ‘you’ that will appear shortly may not have any bearing to the ‘you’ now. The you that will emerge is invisible with God and you shall manifest at the appropriate time. Don’t allow the ‘you’ now to bother you, God is making something great, colourful, glorious out of you. Therefore, you need to speak positively to yourself, speak good things into your future, prophesy great things into your life, tell yourself what you want to become. Doo not speak negative words about yourself anymore. As you speak good things, creating your future you shall see it! So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday  12^th June, 2015)

Hos 13:14

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

The devil and his cohorts specialize in burying one’s destiny! When your destiny is buried all you do in life will end up in futility. It is common for someone to be very hardworking but all his efforts amount to nothing at the end of the day. Such a person’s destiny is being controlled by the agents of darkness. Someone may be working like an elephant but eating little like rat. Everything he tries to do ends up a failure. The agents of darkness have buried his destiny. But the scripture before us today is proclaiming a reversal for you! God in His infinite mercy has said He will ransom you from the grave. Wherever you have been hid in the grave, wherever your destiny has been shut up in the grave, today, you are coming out! The devil has lost the battle over your life, destiny, family, academics and your children finally. An end has come to all your struggles in Jesus name! So shall it be! SHALOM!

Phil 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Paul the Apostle knew very well no one can prevail in the affairs of life outside of God’s help! He affirm that for him to avail anything in life, for him to amount to anything substantial, it must be through Christ. Anyone who attempted to do it alone failed. Anyone who carved out his own way outside of God ended up a failure. You will not end a failure! In that assignment committed to your hand, you will not fail! in that academics you will succeed! In that family, relationship, you will not fail! you wont be found wanting when it matters the most in your life! You will end up a higher flier! Your family will become outstanding no matter what the situation is now! Whenever and wherever you are called upon to undertake anything, never you say “I can’t” for you can do all things. Receive the strength of Christ for accomplishment in Jesus name. So shall it be!  SHALOM!

Ps 124-7

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

If God has opened your eyes to see the devices of the enemy, satan, the devil, against you and your interests, you will thank God for preserving your soul! If the LORD has not been on our side, the story would have been different! You had a slight headache, did you know the enemy had wanted it to lead to your death but God refused? You had that little challenge in your family, place of work, academics, ministry, in your health, did you know the enemy wanted it to be the end of you but your God stood for you? The enemy would have torn and eaten us up as prey but the Jehovah El-ggibor stopped him and snatched us from destruction. Hey! Did you know that when men rose up against us we would have long been forgotten but Jehovah Adonnai said “NO” to them and we are alive today? Did you know that challenge was meant to overwhelm you but the God El-shaddai withstood the enemy for your sake? They had wanted to overrun our souls but the LORD who does not sleep nor slumber kept watch over us and today we have escaped! You have escaped all your enemies! You have escaped all those challenges! You have escaped all their attacks and onslaught! “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” Type ‘Amen’ to claim all these. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 3^rd June, 2015)

Gen 21:1,6
And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

When He visited Sarah He brought a gift of a son, the most valuable to Sarah at that point in time. This week God will visit you as He visited Sarah and He will give unto you the most valuable desire of your heart. When God surprised Sarah she could not help it but laugh and people around her also laughed with her. This week God will do a thing that will put laughter in your mouth. For example, if you have been looking for job without success and this week they call you in a place you did not even submit application and say you are the general manager of the company, won’t you laugh? If you are working and when you get to your office today they say your boss is going on foreign trip for three years and you are now the new head of your establishment, won’t you laugh? If you have been told you can never carry your own baby and you went for scan and the doctor say you are already three months pregnant, won’t you laugh at the devil? I repeat, this week God will visit you and give you laughter! If you believe say, “Lord, visit me and do a thing that will make me laugh this week”. It is done. SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 1^st June, 2015)

Isa 43:18-20

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

God specializes in doing new things always! He does not do same things all the time. Whatever He has done in your life yesterday, He is saying its already a thing of old. Do not dwell on the testimony of yesterday, God is alread

y giving you a new one today. Whatever blessings you’ve experienced since January cannot be compared to what you shall see this new month of June. The new things will start to spring forth and you will know it. Whatever wilderness experience you have had is coming to an end. Wherever you have had desert experience, He will make rivers for you. Your life will experience a freshness from above. All through this month you shall be celebrating the blessings of God in your life. Everything around you shall break forth into joy and rejoicing for the many-fold blessings of God. This month is your month of good and new things! HAPPY NEW MONTH! You are blessed! SHALOM!
