THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 1^st April, 2015)

John 5:25

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

KJV

There is life in hearing the voice of God! The voice of God is the voice of life! The voice of God gives strength and vitality. The scripture above indicates that the hour is coming and now is the time for those who shall hear the voice of the Son of God (Jesus) shall live even if they were dead. It is therefore, important that a man should hear the voice of the Son of God. There are so many voices speaking and they speak daily. You must therefore, be sensitive to hear His voice and His voice alone in order to live. If that your dying business can hear the voice of the Son of God today, it shall live again. If that your health, career, academics, family, relationship etc can only hear the voice of the Son of God it will spring back to life. In this month of resurrection, please, if you hear any voice at all, let it be the voice of the Son of God and everything about you shall begin to speak life. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 30^th March, 2015)

Joel 2:25
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
KJV

God is the only one that can restore man to his lost glory. He is the only one who brings out something from nothing. He said He will restore to you “all”. All means all! Whatever you have lost, where you ought to be but you were denied the opportunity, the promotion or lifting you were denied of, God said He will restore and He cannot lie so, get set for your restoration. Again, God is telling us as a nation, that He is set to restore unto us our lost glory. This great nation under God has great destiny and our destiny cannot be mismanaged. God will rise to proof Himself that He is a God of justice and will not let this nation down. This nation shall be restored to where it belongs in history. Welcome to your season of restoration! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 27^th March, 2015)

Ps 46:1-5
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
KJV

God is the only sure refuge man can have. He is ever present whenever we need Him. Those who have Him as their refuge are often not afraid no matter what happens around them. Let the earth grumble and tumble. Let the seas and the waters be enraged and let the mountains melt in anger, there is a river, the streams will always make glad your heart. Why? God is with you and so you cannot be moved. I don’t know which area of your life you need divine intervention, all I know is that God will visit you without delay. God is never too late; always on time. Whatever is roaring at you will see your God in action and will melt away. Say to yourself, “I am unmovable”. God’s help is coming your way without delay. God will help you early, He won’t come too late. Help is on the way. PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 25^th March, 2015)

2Kgs 7:1,5-6,8

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

v5. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the outermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

v6. For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

v8. And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

Benhadad, the king of Assyria had besieged Samaria to the point that they were starving and had to start eating their children to stay alive (2Kgs 6:26-30). But when the king cried to Elisha, Elisha the prophet of God prophesied that the siege was coming to an end in a very dramatic way in less than 24hours. Unbelievable, you will say! He told the king that the LORD will give divine supplies so much so that they shall have food in their cheapest supplies ever. And it happened! “For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host”. Whatever has besieged your supplies that is making life to choke you, today, the LORD will make them to hear the noise of chariots driving them into the bush. Whatever has made you to be eating from hand to mouth, today, they shall hear a noise of horses pushing them into the wilderness. Whatever has made you to look beggarly and drawn in indebtedness, whatever has made you shed secret tears over your finances, today, they shall hear the noise of a great host chasing them into the deserts and you shall be free. In your storehouse, your pocket, your bank account, and your purse, there shall be divine supplies in less than 24hours. Shout the loudest “Amen”, if you can. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 23^rd March, 2015)

Isa 8:10
Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
KJV

It does not matter if people are taking counsel against you or not. You may not be able to stop evil counsels; you may not be able to stop them from planning evil but you can stop their plans from coming to pass. Let them take their time night and day to take counsel against us the bible says, it shall come to nothing. All their evil counsels against us shall amount to nothing. In fact, their evil plans shall fall back upon their own heads and their generations after them. They may conjure oracles concerning you, they may consult with evil men against your destiny but one thing is sure, their words shall not stand. No evil words spoken into the air concerning us will come to pass. This is because God is with us. Hallelujah! The Lord God with us is mighty therefore, all workers of iniquity shall be brought to nothing. Make sure God is your trust, make sure He is the one in charge. When God is in charge of your affairs all workers of iniquity go into hiding. As for you, all your enemies shall go into captivity in Jesus name. Rejoice, God is on your side. PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 20^th March, 2015)

Ps 20:7-8

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

In the present days, people have come to agree with the saying, “not what you know but who you know”. It appears the world is revolving round what they call, ‘man-know-man’. So many people are carried away by the idea that you must know someone in power or whatever in order to make it. This is an erroneous belief! The sorry thing here is people across religious divide tend to accept this belief. Some trust in their parents, aunties, brothers or sisters thinking that is how they can achieve fleets in life. The scripture above makes us to understand that those who trust in their chariots and horses are often brought down and fallen while those who remember the name of the LORD their God are risen and stand upright. Friends, do not trust in who you know, what you know but trust in the Lord who can never let you down. As for me I will always remember the name of the Lord my God because through Him I can do valiantly. Please, let us lean on God rather than man. SHALOM!

Acts 14:11
And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

When the people saw the hand of God in the life of Paul they could not but glorify God. When they saw miracle done in their very presence no body needed to preach to them anymore. On their own accord they said the apostles were gods. By the inspiration of God I say to you, God will do great things through you that will make people around to know your God. Nobody will be able to despise you anymore. In your office, your business, your academics, your neighbourhood God will do something through you that the people will say you are a god. Indeed, you are a god to your environment. You are a god to your generation. You are a god to that circumstance around you. As God rules in heaven so shall you rule on earth! God is on your side. SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 16th March, 2015)

Ps 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
KJV

What follows you, to a large extent, determines what you see and what you become in life. Your encounters in life are connected to what you carry. Some people see sorrow because that is what is following them. Some see crises and so crises keep following them. As for you, your followers are goodness and mercy! The scripture says ‘surely’ which means ‘without failing,’ ‘nothing wavering,’ ‘assuredly’ your companions shall be goodness and mercy and that is, whether the devil likes it or not. When God’s goodness and mercy follow an individual they make you to succeed. You shall succeed! They make you to have abundance. You will not be in lack and want anymore. They make you to have favour. I decree you will not lack favour in your life. When goodness and mercy follow you, you will end up a celebrity. You shall be celebrated! Above all, when goodness and mercy follow a man, God follows that man too because you can’t separate God from them. Lift your voice and ask for God’s goodness and mercy to keep following you the remaining the days of your life. PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 11^th March, 2015)

Rom 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
KJV

God specializes in turning situation around to the favour of His children. He can work that disappointment to divine appointment; He can turn that sorrow into joy; He can turn your weakness to divine strength; He can work out that failure until it becomes success; He can work out delay to become delight. Therefore, no matter the situation that prevails around you now I want you to know that God is working out something in your favour. All those things will work together for your good. Stop sorrowing over what you cannot change. Cease to ponder over those lies told against you for which you are being hated, persecuted, despised by the ignorant and enemies. At the end God will vindicate you and they all will see that they have castigated you in your innocence. They all will realize their mistakes and will come begging you. The scripture says “And we know……..”, say to yourself, ‘now I know’. So shall it be! Amen! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 9^th March, 2015)

Isa 49:14-15
But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
KJV

It is possible for one to think that the way women love children they cannot forget their children but, the bible is saying they may forget. When a woman is sleeping for instance, she cannot remember anything including her child except when she wakes up. God says even if they forget you He will not. Let your father and mother forsake you, God will not. No wonder God does not sleep nor slumber so that He doesn’t forget you. I do not know what circumstances are making you to think God has forgotten you but, truth is, He cannot forget you at all. I want you to walk in this assurance today that you are still in the plan of God and that He will see you to the end. No matter how things have been, refuse to believe God has forsaken you. Tell yourself, ‘God has not forsaken me’. Thank God this morning for not forgetting you. “God, I thank you for being there for me always”. PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 6^th March, 2015)

Heb 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
KJV

Faith makes one to see the invisible and it takes the invisible to achieve the impossible. When the bible says “with God all things are possible”, it means that with faith all things are possible because without faith you cannot please God (Heb. 6:11), and without God you cannot do the impossible. Through faith we have come to the realization that the world we live in came out of the invisible by the spoken word of God. if the word of God created the entire world then His word can create your own world. That means, the you they are seeing now cannot be compared to the you that will emerge very soon, by the word of God. The ‘you’ that will appear shortly may not have any bearing to the ‘you’ now. The you that will emerge is invisible with God and you shall be made manifest at the appropriate time. Don’t allow the ‘you’ now to bother you, God is making something great, colourful, glorious out of you. You are emerging a great individual to your world! So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 4^th March, 2015)

Ex 14:15-16
And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
KJV

On Monday we saw how God told the children of Israel to move forward! God wants His children to keep moving forward in life. When the Israelites were in Egypt God made them to go out of bondage to a land flowing with milk and honey. However, when they came out they were confronted by the red sea and began to cry unto God. No matter what has been confronting you on your way to your God-given place in destiny, today, you will surmount them all. You may have been stagnated in a place for so long but now you are going forward. But you have a responsibility, just like Moses was asked to lift up his rod and stretch out his hand, you must take deliberate steps and consciously do something that God will capitalize on to launch you forward. Take deliberate steps in your business, academics, family and ministry and you’ll see how God will take you forward. See you in your place of destiny. SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 2^nd March, 2015)

Deut 2:1-3

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

And the Lord spake unto me, saying,

Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

KJV

The Israelites passed through the wilderness and the next thing they saw was camping by a mountain for many days. They were so complacent that they were not even thinking of moving forward. When God saw their intention He had to call unto Moses to remind him they cannot afford to remain in the wilderness longer than necessary. God’s intention for you is not to stay in one place many days/years. God’s agenda for you is forward always and not staying at a point or moving backward or moving at a snail speed. Moses then heard the voice of God saying “you have stayed around this mountain too long”. God is saying to you that you have stayed in that condition too long, it is time to move. You have remained at that level too long, it’s time for a change. You have stayed in that school for too long, it’s time to graduate. You have stayed as a bachelor/spinster too long, it’s time to get married. You have been jobless too long, it’s time to get a job. You have held that certificate too long, it’s time to go for higher degree. You have stayed in that situation (you just name it) too long, God is making way for you this month to enable you march forward. This is your time for a change of level/status. Welcome on board the "change" flight. Happy new month! You shall march forward! SHALOM!
