THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 20th October, 2014)

Deut 33:27
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and say, Destroy them.
KJV

People tend to believe that this period before the year winds down is usually very dangerous! They are often careful in all they do because they don’t want to fall victim of any evil occurrence in the society. As much as they are “careful” evil continues to happen to them. As much as they run away from calamity, it runs and overtakes them. It seems therefore, that there is no hiding place for man. But I’ve got good news for someone who believes in the eternal God. The scripture says He is your refuge.  He is eternal so, nobody, nothing can take His place. As you go about your daily and routine assignment, just be rest assured that the everlasting God is still your refuge. His everlasting arm can never fail to carry you. His everlasting arm is under you so that you cannot fall. I am so convinced that we are secure in HIM! Jesus is LORD! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 17th October, 2014)

Isa 40:28-31
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
KJV

Have you not known? Have you not heard? This connotes that you ought to have known or heard that God, the Almighty has all the powers and so does not faint neither is He weary. As a result, those who faint He gives them power and increases strength for those who have no might. Those who trust in themselves and their strength grow weary and even utterly fall but those who wait on the LORD are always strengthened. As the year runs to an end, please, wait on the LORD for those who wait on Him get their strength renewed. They are always high fliers just like the eagle. You will fly high! You will not faint! You will not grow weary! You will never be discouraged in the race of life. The eternal God, the Creator will sustain you! JESUS is LORD! PEACE! (Have a strength-filled weekend).

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 15th October, 2014)

Isa 40:25-26
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
KJV

God cannot be likened to anyone or anything! He is equal to none! The holy one is everlasting and higher than the highest. And because He is above all and greater than everything, He is the Creator of all. Jehovah is His name! He is so lofty and ‘omni’ in every area. All the things He created He knows their names and calls them all by their names: all the grasses, trees, stars, animals, everything, name it. This same God, the Creator, created you! He knows your name. He knows all the you are passing through. And because He knows the end from the beginning, He knows what shall be even tomorrow. By the greatness of His might He sustains everything and is able to sustain you. I am more than happy and excited to realize the He knows my name. This great God knows my name, the little me! And because He has might to sustain everything He created, none of them will fail. That is why I know that I cannot fail. He fails not so my life cannot fail. My destiny cannot fail. I want you to assure your heart this day that you cannot fail because He cannot fail. You shall not disappoint destiny because your God cannot fail! You shall succeed in all you do. So shall it be! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 13th October, 2014)

Isa 46:3-4
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
KJV

Nobody knows how to maintain a thing as the manufacturer! The manufacturer knows all about the functionality and maintenance of the object he has manufactured. In the same vein, God, the Creator of man knows how best to keep and preserve what He created. From the scripture above we know that God (not the woman) is the one that carried us in the womb. Except God bore and carried us in the belly, probably the pregnancy would have been miscarried. But because God bore and carried you, you were preserved and born by your mother. The same God has said, “And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you”. God will preserve you to old age! You won’t die young! He will carry you! He will bear you! As the year winds down, no evil will come near your dwelling! You and all you have shall be preserved! Welcome to your season of God’s protection and preservation! Jesus is LORD! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 10th October, 2014)

Isa 49:14
But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
KJV

Situations and circumstances make one thinks sometimes that he/she is somehow forgotten! To some individuals, no one cares about them, no friends, no relatives seems to understand them and what they are going through. Others have come to the conclusion that if there was God, their situations shouldn’t be what it is right now and they feel life has been unfair to them and their cause. All I can say is, you are not alone in this regard; Zion once said, “The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me”. But truth is, God has not forgotten you! You have been crying for the fruit of the womb, God has not forgotten you! You have been looking for job, the LORD will perfect it! You have been reproached because of health challenges, your Creator will bring you out very soon! You have been beaten and battered by financial mess, your supplier will not fail you, He is ever near! Whatever it is that you are passing through right now, He said I should tell you that your image is before Him and all your predicaments will be addressed in His own time and VERY SOON. “LORD, I thank you because I am not forgotten. Now I know I have a GOD who cares and never fails. I believe in you LORD”.  JESUS is LORD! PEACE! (Have a joy-full weekend).

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 8th October, 2014)

Gen 40:12 -15
And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three days;
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head, and restore thee unto thine place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
Gen 41:9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
KJV

People tend to remember the evil done to them than they remember the good done for them! More often than not, when we help people they don’t remember to even come back to say “thank you”. This is because people tend to forget their problems as soon as they are solved. So since they didn’t remember they ever had such problems how would they remember the one that provided the solutions to them? Such was the case of Pharaoh’s Chief Butler and Joseph. When he was restored to his place, he forgot Joseph for two full years. If not that Pharaoh had a dream and needed an interpreter, he would have forgot Joseph for life. You may have done so much for people in life and it seems they have forgotten you, you may have trained up your children (suffering) and it appears you will have nothing in return. God who made Joseph to be remembered will cause them to remember you this week. Wherever, they need to remember you, this week, you shall be remembered and your blessings that have been hanging shall be released to you in the name of Jesus. You shall enjoy the fruits of your goodwill towards men and humanity. So shall it be! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 6th October, 2014)

Esth 6:1-10
On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king………………………………….And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him……………………………………..Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.
KJV

When God is set to lift someone, when God is set to bless someone, when God is determined to reward someone, He will make sure anyone responsible for His will has sleepless nights until it is done. If you are sure you are that someone, let your ‘Amen’ be the loudest. Mordecai was slated to be hanged by Haman but little did he know that God had marked him for honour. When the hour came for Haman to carry out his evil plan God also came up with His plan to lift him. Because God’s plan supersedes man’s, God made sure the king lost his sleep so that Mordecai can be honoured. As the year is going to an end, whoever has been holding your blessings, lifting, promotions, success since the beginning of the year will not sleep until they are delivered to you! Whatever you are due for, this is your due season to receive them and nobody will be able to stand your way or else he/she will lose sleep. I hereby welcome you to your due season of unstoppable blessings! Jesus is LORD! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 3rd October, 2014)

Rev 21:4-5
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
KJV

Hallelujah! No more deaths, no more sorrows, no more crying, no more pains: for the former things are passed away. Your sorrows, crying, pains have become former things; they have passed away. What a joy! What a blessed assurance! No more tears, for God has wiped away your tears. Tears of barrenness has been wiped away! Tears of joblessness has been wiped away! Tears of borrowing and reproach has been wiped away! Tears of sickness and disease has been wiped away! Tears of age-long afflictions in your relationships and family has been wiped away! I don’t know what kind of tears have torn your life apart that you feel life has been unfair to you but, I make bold to tell you now, weep not. For God has wiped away all tears from your eyes! Moreover, He is making all things new for you. New jobs, new contracts, new houses, new testimonies: everything new! And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. JESUS is LORD! PEACE! (Have a sorrow-free weekend).
