THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 30^th October, 2015)

John 3:8
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

The wind may start like breeze and may sometimes strengthen into strong wind. In whichever way, you can always feel how the wind blows but it’s usually impossible to tell accurately where it is coming from or going, not even with the modern apparatus can they be accurate. It therefore means wind is unpredictable. Child of God, Jesus says, that is what you are. As wind is unpredictable you are unpredictable. No devil from the pit of hell will be able to predict you anymore. Now, on land, wind sometimes transforms into tornadoes while on the seas you have storms. On the oceans you have typhoons and may quake as tsunami. Very shortly God will make you a tsunami to your world. In academics, industry, commerce, ministry (which ever area you are), you shall dominate your world. I tell you the truth in the Holy Ghost that God has programmed you as a tornado and typhoon to take your world by the storm. Get ready! Your generation shall experience the power of God through you. If you are that person I am sent to, say to yourself “I am unpredictable!” Arise, take your world by the storm! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 28^th October, 2015)

Isa 49:15-16

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

The prodigal son, according to Luke 15, thought his father had written him off! He said he can only fit into the position of one of the hired servants in his father’s house to enable him have food to eat. But unknown to him, his father’s eye was always on the way expecting his son to come back home one day. Why? Because he cannot forget him! Some, because of the situation they find themselves, think God has forgot them. But God is asking, “is it possible for a woman to forget her own child she carried in the womb for nine months?” Yes, they may forget, but God will not forget you! In order not to forget you, He has graven you upon His palms. He has graven your image on both hands so that if one palm cleans off the second will still be there. What a privilege and assurances of God’s value placed on us! Man may have written you off but God will not! Man may have forsaken you but your God will not! Man may have despised you but God will never! Man may have told you nothing will ever come out of you or that you will never amount to anything but don’t worry he is not God! Your maker has said He will not forget you. Be rest assured that God is for you and He will not forget you, He is making something good out of you. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 26^th October, 2015)

Rom 8:18-19

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

A man, who was the bread winner of his home, lost his job and his life soon turned upside down. His wife, a graduate, had not been employed all along. For about four (4) good years everything turned sour and ugly for them. They applied for work to several organizations but were turned down. They were mocked and laughed at but they remained adamantly committed to God and their faith unshaken! Their relatives abandoned them and joined in the mockery. One day, the both of them got jobs and were each given one year advanced payment. What a turnaround! Those that mocked them were coming to rejoice with them in their later glory. Maybe your case is  similar to this, maybe it is worse than this but I tell you the truth, the “sufferings” you are experiencing now is not worthy of comparison with the glory of God coming upon you shortly (say ‘Amen’). You may have been mocked and despise by the very people you trusted! Your situation may have been your nickname! You shall emerge a world celebrity! Your world is earnestly waiting for your emergence! The destiny of your generation is linked to you and you shall not disappoint them. For the earnest expectation of the creature is waiting for your manifestation! Hold on, you shall get there very shortly! So shall it be!  PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 23^rd October, 2015)

Matt 9:20-22

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

This was a tearful story of a woman who spent all she had on her health but instead of getting better she became more miserable at the spate on 12 years! She was used for experiment by the practicing doctors in her day yet, the issue of blood became worse. She was referred from one specialist hospital to another, from one herbalist to another and every one of the claimed he could do it but alas, there was no solution. But one day she heard that the ultimate Physician, Jesus Christ, was passing that way. She then told herself, “this is my only chance”. She only touched...and instantly her fountain ran dry! You may have no problem with issue of blood but you have the issue of relationship; one after another they came but all the relationships broke down before you could say, “I do”. May be you have the issue of joblessness, issue of financial indebtedness, issue of childlessness, whatever your issue may be, Jesus is still passing your way today! But the woman made up her mind that “enough is enough”. If you too can make up your mind today and call on the Lord saying, “my Lord, this issue (mention it) must come to an end today” then you too will be set free. If you can believe you shall receive your miracle like the woman with the issue of blood. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 21^st October, 2015)

John 5:5-8                                                                        

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

Here is an ugly story of a man incapacitated by his predicament for thirty eight solid years without remedy even when he was at the pool of solution! We don’t know how old he was before they brought him there. He spent his youthful and useful age lying in one place hoping that one day he could be set free. However, he had no body to help him into the water to receive his miracle for 38 years! Ha, what a waste! One day, Jesus showed up for him and his story changed! Can you imagine what could have happened if Jesus never showed up? He would have died in that situation without family members to claim his corpse for burial. Your situation may or not be as ugly as this: you have been looking for admission, job, contract etc for so long but because you have “no body” you have not succeeded. Do not despair! The same way Jesus came to the rescue of the man in the scripture above, He is coming to your rescue right now! Your predicament may have become synonymous with your name: that barren woman, that jobless fellow, that borrower, that sickler, that expired single, name it. But at last Jesus is passing your way today! He is changing your story and giving you testimony. He is changing your name and giving you fame in the place of shame. It is your turn for a change! So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 19^th October, 2015)

Luke 7:12-14

12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

The city mentioned above is Nain! A pathetic story of a widow who had suffered to bring up her only child after she lost her husband. Much people of the city followed her as they were on their way to the cemetery because it touched their hearts but they could not help in her predicament. But the wonder compassionate friend came along and told her, “weep not”. Whatever has made you weep secretly, openly before now, Jesus is saying to you “weep not”. The Lord spoke and the young man jacked back to life. Hallelujah! Take a few seconds to imagine if Jesus had not passed that way that day. The widow would have lost her only child to the cold hands of death. I don’t know whatever is dying or dead in your hand, Jesus is passing your way today! Can you see Him? He sees your tears and is ready to wipe them away! You cannot suffer loss when He is passing your way! You cannot suffer financial depravity when He is passing your way! You cannot suffer depression, oppression, deprivation, humiliation, stagnation when your wonder compassionate friend is at hand to help. Truth is, He’s passing this way today! Call on Him and all your troubles shall be over! So shall it be!  PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 16^th October, 2015)

Ps 20:7-8

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

In the present days, people have come to agree with the saying, “not what you know but who you know”. It appears the world is revolving round what they call, ‘man-know-man’. So many people are carried away by the idea that you must know someone in power or whatever in order to make it. This is an erroneous belief! The sorry thing here is people across religious divide tend to accept this belief. Some trust in their parents, aunties, brothers or sisters thinking that is how they can achieve fleets in life. The scripture above makes us to understand that those who trust in their chariots and horses are often brought down and fallen while those who remember the name of the LORD their God are risen and stand upright. I know a young man who was well connected to uncles and aunties that are in position. He went to read international relations in the university thinking he will work in the ministry of foreign affairs and eventually become an ambassador. When he was through with his studies, all those he trusted turned deaf ears to his calls and he never got government appointment. Friends, do not trust in who you know, what you know but trust in the Lord who can never let you down. As for me I will always remember the name of the Lord my God because through Him I can do valiantly. Please, let us lean on God rather than man! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 14^th October, 2015)

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Gifts gladden the heart and mind of anyone who receives them! When one is given good gift, he rejoices because gift shows love and love makes the world to go round. Gift is no gift until it is given. God demonstrated this in John 3:16 when He gave His only begotten Son as a gift to the world. But no gift is perfect except it’s from above and because you are from above you are a perfect gift to your generation. You shall not disappoint destiny in Jesus name! Today you can give a gift to someone around you. You may be wondering, ‘what gift?’ May be a smile is a gift someone needs from you today. It may be a warm handshake, it may be an encouragement, it may be prayer someone needs from you, it may be money, food, clothing or anything legitimate. Give a gift of love today! As God has loved us, let us also show love to one another by giving a gift. Remember, you are blessed to be a blessing. And as you give gifts to others, you and your children shall not lack gifts. You are blessed! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 12^th October, 2015)

Ps 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

What follows you, to a large extent, determines what you see and what you become in life. Your encounters in life are connected to what you carry. Some people see sorrow because that is what is following them. Some see crises and so crises keep following them. As for you, your followers are goodness and mercy! The scripture says ‘surely’ which means ‘without failing,’ ‘nothing wavering,’ ‘assuredly’ your companions shall be goodness and mercy and that is, whether the devil likes it or not. When God’s goodness and mercy follow an individual they make you to succeed. You shall succeed! They make you to have abundance. You will not be in lack and want anymore. They make you to have favour. I decree you will not lack favour in Jesus name. When goodness and mercy follow you, you will end up a celebrity. You shall be celebrated! Above all, when goodness and mercy follow a man, God follows that man too because you can’t separate God from them. God’s goodness and mercy shall keep following you the remaining the days of your life. You will not lack God’s presence! It is well with you and you shall be celebrated in your generation! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 9^th October, 2015)

2 Cor 4:17-18
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Every product that has a name has expiry date! There is no product under the sun that lasts forever. While some products have short lifespan others have relatively long lifespan. In the same manner, challenges of life don’t last forever; some challenges have short lifespan, others last longer. But the basic truth is, no challenge, no matter how hard it may seem, lasts forever. Listen to what God is saying concerning any challenge or affliction you may have seen: God is saying, the affliction, challenge you are facing is but for a moment. That sickness is temporal, that delay in marriage is temporal, that delay in child bearing is temporal, that delay in securing job is temporal, that delay in having your own car, house is also temporal, that delay in getting promotion is temporal. That financial difficulty is temporal. Whatever delay it is and whatever, challenge or setback has come your way, God has asked me to tell you that it is temporal. God is using that situation to bring to you a far much better glorious thing than you are going through. That delay you have seen is already coming to an end and the best of you will come out of that situation in Jesus name! In the secular they say “God’s time is the best” but I tell you the truth, God’s time is not only the best but brings with it the best. Your job will be the best, your marriage will be the best, your children will be the best, your cars, houses, you name it, will be the best. You will experience the best financial comfort. If you believe it let your amen be the loudest. It is done! REJOICE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 7^th October, 2015)

Ps 128:1-2
Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
KJV

All through the ages and the scriptures we have come to realize that people were blessed as a result of their reverence fear for God their Creator. The fear of God is what guarantees God’s blessings in any individual’s life. To be blessed of God you must exhibit His fear in what you say, how you live, what you do, where you go, how you relate with others etc. You cannot live anyhow life and expect God to bless you. If you have His reverence fear then you shall enjoy the labour of your hands. Not only that, you shall be happy and it shall be well with you. I say to you this this day, “It is well with you”. Live for God daily, live to reverence Him in your conduct. Do not repay evil for evil, do not judge others, do not live in self-righteousness, acknowledge the mercies of God, let His grace be your energy. He shall remain your fortress! You are blessed! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 5^th October, 2015)

Prov 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
KJV

The name of the Lord is a sure protection against all forces of evil! Those that carry the name of the Lord carry God Himself and when you carry God all things bow to you, including the devil and His agents. Therefore, wherever you go, whatever you do, be sure you are carrying that name. Run into that name anytime, anywhere, in any circumstance and you are safe. But you must be righteous! I declare to you as contained in Psalm 20:1-2 “the LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion.” God is faithful and will not fail! “Thank you Lord for making your name available for my protection”. All through the remaining months of this year the name of the Lord shall be your protection. You shall not see evil; when evil is behind you shall be ahead, where evil is on the rampage you shall not be found there. The name of the Lord will shield you from every hurt and harm! So shall it be!  PEACE!
