THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 19th February, 2016)

Ps 46:1-5
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
KJV

God is the only sure refuge man can ever rely on! He is ever present whenever we need Him! Those who have Him as their refuge are often not afraid no matter what happens around them: let the earth grumble and tumble, let the seas and the waters be enraged and let the mountains melt in anger, they are unmoved! There is a river, the streams will always make glad your heart. Why? God is with you and so you cannot be moved. Say to yourself, “I am unmovable”. Do not be moved if the seas are raging around you. Do not be perturbed if the mountains are melting around you and the ground becomes sinking sand. Jesus, the only solid rock will sustain you; keep standing on the solid rock. God’s help is coming your way without delay. He is never too late! God will help you early, He won’t despise your call! Friends and relatives may seem far away from you to help you but, I tell you the truth, He is ever near to help! Help is on the way! So shall it be in Jesus name! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 17th February, 2016)

Ps 126:1-2
When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
KJV

When one is in captivity he has no freedom to do anything of his own accord! He does things according to the dictates of his captivity. When such an individual regains freedom, he will value it. He will celebrate his freedom! Such is the picture being painted in the scripture above. When the LORD turned again (meaning He has turned it before) the captivity of Zion we were like as if we were dreaming. What followed was laughter and singing and dancing to the extent that even the heathen acknowledged that their GOD has done (not small things) great things for them. The LORD will do great things in your life this year that even your enemies will acknowledge that “indeed, he is serving a living God!” They will say among themselves what the LORD has done for you! In your business God will surprise you with great things! In your academics, the LORD will do great things! In your family God will amuse your enemies and friends alike with great things. In short, God shall make you an amazement to your world this year! Get set for a captivity turn again experience! You shall sing and dance and your world will join you in praising the name of the LORD your GOD! So shall it be! Amen! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 15th February, 2016)

Ps 34:5
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
KJV

Those who look unto God has every burden lifted off their shoulders and shame is rolled away from off their faces. Some look unto their own wisdom while others look unto their wealth. Some look unto their parents, uncles, aunties, brothers and sisters but only those who look unto God have permanent solution to their problems. The book of 2 Cor. 3:18 paints a vivid picture of why shame is far away from those that gaze upon His face; “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”. God keeps transforming them thereby making His glory to overshadow them. Today, the glory of the Lord will envelop you and shame will be far away from you. Every burden shall be lifted off your shoulders in the name of Jesus! Friend, you shall no longer  see shame! Your family shall no longer see shame! In your business, career, academics etc you shall not see shame! So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 12th February, 2016)

Gen 41:15-16
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
KJV

Pharaoh was so troubled because of the dream he had and the need to get the interpretation which unfortunately, was not forthcoming from his trusted dream interpreters. So many questions were on his mind but no answer. He was already perplexed when he heard there was a slave, a prisoner who can interpret the dream. What a great relief for the great king of Egypt! However, when Joseph was called he told the king, it was only God that can give the king an ‘answer of peace’! I have seen almost everyone living on the planet earth, with lots and lots of questions with no commensurate answers. So many ‘why me? what next? Who will help me? When shall my own be? Where do I go from here? How can this be?’ Lots of unanswered questions on the minds of both small and great, rich and poor alike! Questions about your marital life, fruitfulness, job, family, academics, health and all that bothers you. No matter the question(s) on your mind I have good news for you: God will give you an answer of peace! The only one that can give authentic answer(s) to your question(s) is God. Jesus is the answer for the world today. He will give you an answer of PEACE! So shall it be! Amen! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 10th February, 2016)

Isa 49:15
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
KJV

Women are so passionate about their children! We were told this affinity is because of the fact that children live with their mothers nine months before anyone else could set his/her eyes on them so the bond between them is so high! In fact, without any fear of criticism I can freely say that, most women think more of their children than their husbands while most men think more of their wives or jobs. We were once told about a woman who was in a room sleeping and her sucking child beside her when fire gutted their apartment. The shouts of fire outside woke her up and she rushed out but remembered her child. The world outside persuaded her to leave the child because of the inferno but she damned the consequences and entered fire because of her bowel of compassion for her child. The hand she used to pick the child was severely burnt! As the child was growing up he never liked his mother’s burnt right hand which was shorter than the left hand. One day he summoned courage to ask his mother of what happened to her hand. The woman sighed and kept silent! The boy became more curious and asked why the sighing. His mother told him her hand was an exchange for his life! She then told the boy the whole story. She could hardly finish when the boy, with tears already rolling down his cheeks profusely, jumped, grabbed the hand and said, “mama, I love this hand more than the rest of your body”. God is telling someone this day that if a woman can be so compassionate about her child, He, the Creator will do much more for you. He said the woman may even forget but He will not forget you. Walk in this assurances today and forever that God cannot forget you! Your God has not forgot your issues. He will answer you! So shall it be! Amen! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 8th February, 2016)

Isa 30:21
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
KJV
It was a cool evening while the sun was about to set over 20 years ago! I just defended my undergraduate project and was billed to travel to the village the following day because of a wedding. I went to the town to buy some things. After buying the things, I stood by the road waiting for a taxi cab when I heard, very audibly, “why not move forward from here a little bit”. I looked around but there was nobody. All the same, I started moving towards where I was headed. In a matter of few seconds I heard a loud ‘bang’ behind me and I turned back. To my utter amazement, a truck loaded with sand just lost control, climbed the pedestrian pavement where I was standing into the nearby drainage. I was shocked to the marrow! If I had not heard the voice I would have been crutched beyond recognition and maybe there would have been a newspaper headline “a fresh graduate crutched by a tipper after project defence”. But I heard a voice which instructed me to leave the disaster zone before it struck. Friends, all through this year, your ear shall hear a word that will draw you away from calamity! Before disaster strike you will be out of the place! You will hear a word that will make you not to do anything that will lead you to regrets! God is speaking constantly but only those who are sensitive can hear Him. Be sensitive enough to hear His voice! You shall not be destroyed by insensitivity! So shall it be! SHALOM!
