THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 29^th April, 2015)

Ps 34:5

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

KJV

Those who look unto God have every burden lifted off their shoulders and shame is rolled away from off their faces. Some look unto their own wisdom while others look unto their wealth. Some look unto their parents, uncles, aunties, brothers and sisters but only those who look unto God have permanent solution to their problems. The book of 2 Cor. 3:18 paints a vivid picture of why shame is far away from those that gaze upon His face; “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”. God keeps transforming them thereby making His glory to overshadow them. Today, the glory of the Lord will envelop you and shame will be far away from you. Every burden shall be lifted off your shoulders in the name of Jesus! Friend, you shall no longer  see shame! Your family shall no longer see shame! In your business, career, academics etc you shall not see shame! So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 27^th April, 2015)

Amos 9:13

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

KJV

The time is coming and that is now that the LORD shall give you speed for accomplishment! The plowman shall overtake the reaper; this means, while they are still reaping you are plowing the next one and while they are still treading the grapes for wine, the seeds for the next wine are already being sown. This is what we call divine speed! God is set to give someone divine speed the remaining days of this month. It does not matter how far you have crawled in your endeavor this year, divine speed is coming your way already. The few remaining days of this month you shall be moving at the speed of light. Whatever you have been unable to achieve since the beginning of this year, you will accomplish with the speed of light. Your mountains shall drop sweet wine. You shall be invigorated for sweet accomplishment! Welcome to your week of divine speed. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 24^th April, 2015)

1 Cor 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

All through the ages we have seen that the grace of God is what makes man to ever become anything in life. Nothing promotes individuals as the grace of God! It is true that by human strength no flesh can prevail. The odds against our progress in life are so strong that we need divine intervention through the grace of God. When grace is at work in a man his progress in life looks magical. Paul the Apostle understood his uncommon progress in life and ministry was as a result of the grace of God at work in him. The grace made him to labour more abundantly than all and that was why he made such giant strides in life. However he worked, he acknowledge the grace of God at work in him. Nobody amounts to anything in life outside of divine help called the grace of God. Bishop Abioye of Winners’ Chapel once said, “it is grace that makes the journey great”. From now on, I see God’s grace working with you, in you, for you to make you arrive at your God given destination. You will end well by the grace of God. You will not be an abandoned project in the name of Jesus. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 22^nd April, 2015)

Ps 89:34-35

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie……………………

God cannot lie! It is impossible for God to say a thing and deny ever saying it. Man, by nature, is prone to lies and denials but not God. When God says “yes” He means it. And when He sys “no” He will not change it. That’s what makes Him God, the Almighty. He has declared “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie…..” It is satisfying to know that we have a God who cannot lie. He says He will not leave nor forsake us and that is true. He says we will fulfill the number of our days and that is sure because He has spoken it. He says you shall become great and He means it. He says you are blessed and no one can change it. He has said He cannot even alter it again once it has gone out of His mouth. God has made His word bigger than His name (Ps. 138:2^b) which means His words bound Him to fulfill His promises. Whatever it is God has said concerning you, concerning your family, concerning your academics, career, health etc, He will surely bring it to pass. Hold on to Him because He cannot lie.  So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 20^th April, 2015)

John 3:8
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
KJV

The wind may start like breeze and may sometimes strengthen into strong wind. In whichever way, you can always feel how the wind blows but it’s usually impossible to tell accurately where it is coming from or going, not even with the modern apparatus can they be accurate. It therefore means wind is unpredictable! Child of God, Jesus says, that is what you are. As wind is unpredictable you are likewise unpredictable! No devil from the pit of hell will be able to predict you anymore. Now, on land, wind sometimes transforms into tornadoes while on the seas you have storms. On the oceans you have typhoons. Very shortly God will make you a sunnami to your world! In academics, industry, commerce, ministry (which ever area you are), you shall dominate your world. I tell you the truth in the Holy Ghost, God has programmed you as a tornado and typhoon to take your world by the storm. Get ready! Your generation shall experience the power of God through you. If you are that person I am sent to, say to yourself “I am unpredictable!” So shall it be! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 17^th April, 2015)

Joel 2:26
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

The era you eat from hand-to-mouth is over! God says from now on, you will eat in plenty and be satisfied. Your mouth therefore, shall be full of praise for God who so provided you and your family with good things. And you will acknowledge that God has done wondrously with you. Above all, shame will be far away from your tabernacle. The scripture says ‘never’ which means, throughout your life time beginning from now, you will not be ashamed again. God is mindful of you and He will not allow your head to bow in shame. God is lifting your head. He said  in Isa 54:4 ”Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood anymore.”  God cannot lie, He will not lie, He has never lied. He will do whatsoever He says and will do it for you. Say ‘do it, Lord!’ It is done! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 13^th April, 2015)

Ps 91:1, 5-11

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

The whole earth is full of uncertainties. No one is sure of what will happen next. Also the world is plagued with so much troubles, crises and animosity everywhere. As a result of all these that have befallen the earth (because we are in the last days), everyone seems to be filled with the fear of unknown. The scripture before us today paints a very vivid picture of God’s security package for His children. If the children of God must not panic like others then they need assurances from God concerning their safety. What a soothing word therefore, from the Almighty Himself. As many as dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in His shadow. When you are covered with His shadow you are secured against any onslaught of the devil. Fear of what will happen at night, nor arrows that fly by day, or pestilence or whatever waste the lives of others shall be far away from you. There shall no evil happen to you. Rest in this assurance that God is out to protect you and your own. PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 8^th April, 2015)

1 John 3:1-3

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

The love of God towards us is so strong and that is why He has called us His own. We whom the world may have rejected are called the beloved in the family of God. Your family may not know your worth or value but in the family of God your worth is enormous. The world may not know us because we do not look the way the world wants us to be. One thing is imperative, we may not look the way we should now but we will become it! You may not look glorious now but you will become. Your family may not appreciate who you are now but when you arrive at your God-given destination they will start to wonder whether you are still the one. When Jesus appeared in the city doing wonders they said “is this not the carpenter’s son?” God will change your status very soon that even those who look down on you now will start to sing your praise. Your mockers will soon be dumbfounded about your lifting. It does not matter how rough, how tight your situation and circumstance right now, God will do a quick work for you and suddenly your story will change. You have a responsibility, though: be pure as He is pure. See you at the top where we belong. So shall it be! SHALOM!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 6^th April, 2015)

1 Cor 15:12-21

12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

Some religious people who intend to castigate the Christian faith hold that Christ died and never rose! This is not strange to us who believe because even at that day (more than 2000 years ago), the rulers of the people connived with the guards to make it look as if the disciples came to carry the dead body of Christ. Christianity is hinged upon the fact that Christ rose from death and was seen of many and because He lives we can live also. It also follows that because He was raised from the dead we who believe in Him shall arise and live with Him on the last day! For if Christ was not raised from the dead then our faith in Him is vain and as many as died believing in Him have perished. But thanks be unto the Almighty God. Christ was raised by God the Father of all! Make no mistakes, the tomb is empty which is a sign to prove our Saviour lives. If you know this song please, sing along with me:

I tell you the truth, I lie not, I can bet my life on it that Jesus is alive! He rose triumphantly from the grave. Death could not hold Him down. The grave gave up on Him. He was too much for death to silence. I speak to you today that by the power that raised Jesus from the dead, every death sentence over your life, family, destiny is hereby terminated. The grave could not hold Him therefore, every grave around your life, business and career is giving way right now. The devil was helpless about Him so he let Him alone, the devil has given up over your children, husband, wife, life, health. No witch nor wizard can stop you anymore. Hallelujah! You have escaped that death planned for you, that grave meant for you and your family your enemies will enter it. You are free at last. Welcome to your season of resurrection! PEACE!

THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 3^rd April, 2015)

John 19:28-30
28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

All it takes to make life worthwhile was accomplished by Jesus on the cross. He went all the way to Calvary to accomplish what we could never have been able to do for ourselves. The King of kings said “I thirst” to quench all we thirst for in life. He drank vinegar that we may drink sweet wine. He suffered shame to bring an end to human shame and miseries. When He has done all Jesus said, “it is finished”. The work of redemption of mankind is finished; man is reconciled back to God. The salvation of your soul is finished; once an enemy of God man is now friend with God through the shed blood. The healing of your sicknesses & diseases is finished. Your thirst is finished. Your poverty is finished; he became poor that through His poverty we might be made rich (2 Cor 8:9). Your worries over what tomorrow may bring is finished. All it takes to make your life count is accomplished. Your academic struggles are over. Your business breakthrough is done. Your marital success is accomplished. Everything mentioned above and a host of others are contained in your redemption package. Embrace this truth and trust Jesus and have rest for your soul. PEACE! HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY 2015!
