THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 8th February, 2016)

Isa 30:21
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
KJV
It was a cool evening while the sun was about to set over 20 years ago! I just defended my undergraduate project and was billed to travel to the village the following day because of a wedding. I went to the town to buy some things. After buying the things, I stood by the road waiting for a taxi cab when I heard, very audibly, “why not move forward from here a little bit”. I looked around but there was nobody. All the same, I started moving towards where I was headed. In a matter of few seconds I heard a loud ‘bang’ behind me and I turned back. To my utter amazement, a truck loaded with sand just lost control, climbed the pedestrian pavement where I was standing into the nearby drainage. I was shocked to the marrow! If I had not heard the voice I would have been crutched beyond recognition and maybe there would have been a newspaper headline “a fresh graduate crutched by a tipper after project defence”. But I heard a voice which instructed me to leave the disaster zone before it struck. Friends, all through this year, your ear shall hear a word that will draw you away from calamity! Before disaster strike you will be out of the place! You will hear a word that will make you not to do anything that will lead you to regrets! God is speaking constantly but only those who are sensitive can hear Him. Be sensitive enough to hear His voice! You shall not be destroyed by insensitivity! So shall it be! SHALOM!
