THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 24th June, 2015)
Acts 26:22
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue
unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than
those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

No one is sufficient in himself
to accomplish anything! The Apostle Paul knew this very well and leaned upon
God (he depended solely on God for the work of the ministry). No wonder he made
waves in his time. Until Jesus comes the world cannot recover from the impact
of his ministry as we read and continue to digest the books he wrote in the new
testament. It is often surprising and disheartening to see so many talk and
behave as if they can do anything on their own accord. Some hold unto the help
of man as if man is that reliable. Those who depend on the help of men are
often disappointed because man is man, man is not God. Those who put their
trust in God do valiantly. The Psalmist puts it this way “Give us help from
trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for He
it is that shall tread down our enemies” (Ps 60:11-12). Paul reiterated he can
do all things through the strength of Christ only (Phil. 4:13). Friends, let us
hold unto God for His help. As you do so, you shall do valiantly and He shall
tread down your enemies in Jesus name. Receive the help of God for continuity! So
shall it be! SHALOM!
