THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday  5^th June, 2015)

Ps 124-7

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

If God has opened your eyes to see the devices of the enemy, satan, the devil, against you and your interests, you will thank God for preserving your soul! If the LORD has not been on our side, the story would have been different! You had a slight headache, did you know the enemy had wanted it to lead to your death but God refused? You had that little challenge in your family, place of work, academics, ministry, in your health, did you know the enemy wanted it to be the end of you but your God stood for you? The enemy would have torn and eaten us up as prey but the Jehovah El-ggibor stopped him and snatched us from destruction. Hey! Did you know that when men rose up against us we would have long been forgotten but Jehovah Adonnai said “NO” to them and we are alive today? Did you know that challenge was meant to overwhelm you but the God El-shaddai withstood the enemy for your sake? They had wanted to overrun our souls but the LORD who does not sleep nor slumber kept watch over us and today we have escaped! You have escaped all your enemies! You have escaped all those challenges! You have escaped all their attacks and onslaught! “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” Type ‘Amen’ to claim all these. So shall it be! SHALOM!
