THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 23rd
December, 2015)
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
KJV

All over the world people are in festive mood! Whether Christian
faithful or not, everyone is in the mood of the season! The yuletide is so
unique that no one can deny the aura of the time! Christian children are
normally upbeat about the coming of Christmas mostly because they must have new
clothes and other gifts (we were all like that when we were kids). It is also
characterized by travels: people travel from cities to their villages or visit
friends and relatives to celebrate the season. There is no doubt, Christmas
comes with lots of fun and excitement! Many, unfortunately though, are carried
away in the euphoria of these fun and excitements that they forget the essence
of the season. Christmas is the demonstration of God’s love to mankind! Jesus
is the reason for the season! Our celebrations anchor on the coming of the Son
of God to this sinful world in order to reconcile mankind with God the Creator!
God showed us love first
so that we may know how well to love. God demonstrated His love by giving His
very best-His only begotten Son! His Son in turn, commanded us to love. Love is
a commandment (John 15:12, 17). As we celebrate Christmas therefore, let us
remember to show someone a little kindness! Love covers multitudes of sins
therefore, forgive those that may have offended you! Let someone around you
receive your kindness and love this season! Let love, I mean pure love, ooze
out of you to the world around you! I wish to tell all my friends that I love
and cherish you all. Without love the world is not complete and without you our
world in Dew of Hermon is not complete! This shall be your best Christmas ever
in Jesus name! HAPPY CHRISTMAS in advance! PEACE!
