THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 25th
November, 2015)
Ps 68:1-2
Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him
flee before him.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the
fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
KJV
Many years ago there was this young graduate who took to selling women
and children wears when no other job was readily available. Her elder brother
came, with smiles, and bought some for his family on credit. He promised to pay
the money in just two weeks. The two weeks ran into months and he was not forthcoming
with the payment. When she asked him for the money he became angry and
threatened to kill her. True to his threat, he went and consulted with a
thunder maker to kill her with thunder. But the God who is above any thunder,
made it to backfire on him. The thunder threw him out of his room to the
compound and he confessed before he died. Listen to this, you have done good
for people but they seek your hurt instead, you have assisted someone but he
turned against you, the very person who benefited from you benevolence is now planning
your downfall, the person you helped to employ in your organization is now a
thorn in your flesh, whereas you mean well for them they mean evil for you and
your family. Let God arise and judge them! The Lord God Almighty shall arise
and all that are undoing you shall be scattered! They shall be driven away as
smoke and melted as wax but the Lord will sustain you! And so shall it be! SHALOM!
