THE DEW OF HERMON (Friday 13th
November, 2015)
Isa 60:1-2
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
KJV
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
KJV
Light supersedes darkness in every ramification! The supremacy of light
over darkness is such that light overwhelms darkness in glory. Darkness may
rule in the absence of light but as soon as light comes to the scene darkness bows
out in surrender! When you have light you are full of energy and activity. God is
saying to you that your light has come and it is time to shine! Darkness hides
someone but light makes one to shine. Those who are covered with darkness
cannot shine. My friend, you will shine! Irrespective of what the situation
looks like now you will shine! In your family you will shine! In your academics
you will shine! No matter the economy of the world you will shine in your
finances. No matter how tough the situation of life, you will shine among your
equals. There are so much complains about crude oil prices, business
stagnation, economic downturn etc. All these cries are not strange because we
already know that “darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people”
but the good news is, we are exempted from their cries. Why? “the Lord shall
arise upon thee and His glory shall be seen upon thee”. You will not cry their cry
for the Lord is your portion. Please, note that you shall continue to shine to
the glory of God! So shall it be! PEACE!
