THE DEW OF HERMON (Monday 4th
January, 2016)
Joel 2:21-22
Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the
LORD will do great things.
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for
the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the
fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
KJV
The beginning of the year has always been
characterized with fear of how to cope with financial crunch after the
festivities at the end of the previous year. People care so much about how to
pay bills, send children to school and so many other things that beg for one’s
attention financially. Whatever may be your situation, God is set to do great
things and that include your finances. “Fear not, rejoice” is God’s admonition
to you this day! Be not afraid, for your pastures will spring and your tree will
bear fruit, you shall have wine to celebrate. What all these mean is that, beginning
from today, you shall have no scarceness around you. You will pay your bills,
your children will return to school without the fear of where their school fees
will come from. Every day of this year you shall have enough of all things
including money! Fear not, the LORD will do great things and that will include
your own things in Jesus name. Do it LORD! So shall
it be! PEACE!
